How to create a new Promotion page?
Promotions Pages can be used for a variety of purposes in the Tapendium solution. They can be used to promote a single event, a feature of the hotel, restaurants, spas, and special offers. Typically, permanent Promotions Pages for the hotel restaurants, bars, and spas are created on the initial set up of Tapendium.
There are options on adding links to the content in Promotions Pages that allow users to take further action such as making a booking or getting more information. In the example below, we have not included any links on the Page. For how to set up buttons to link to external websites see How do I create an external link button on a Promotions Page? and to set up buttons for users to make a request see How do I create a Request button on a Promotions Page?
A Promotion Page can also be set up to open a PDF directly on the tablet screen. To learn how to do this see How do I set up a PDF to appear on tablet screens?

Overview on setting up links on Promotions Pages
Promotions Pages can include links using the Include Links option. There are three options on including links on promotions Pages:
-
Linking to the AppScreen (a content module or full page PDF),
-
linking to a URL (an external website)
-
linking to a Request (a request that is then managed through the Tapendium solution)
Linking to AppScreen
This option links a PDF document directly to a menu of a Promotions Page. In this example, a spa Promotions Page has a menu button called Spa Products, which when pressed, opens up a PDF promoting the sale of spa products directly onto the tablet screen.
For information on how to set this up see How do I set up a PDF to appear on tablet screens?
Linking to a URL
This option links a Page to an external website such as a booking site. For more information on setting this up see How do I create a external link button on a Promotions Page?
Linking to Request Button
This option adds a Request link to a Promotions Page that allows a user to make a request through the Tapendium solution for processing by hotel staff. For more information on setting up a Request link see How do I create a Request button on a Promotions Page?
