How do I create Guest Services Items?
How do I create Guest Services Items?
‘Guest Service - Items’ are assigned to ‘Guest Services - Categories’.
It is best to create the new Item from the Categories view in the Admin Portal, so it is assigned to the correct Category immediately.
There is a number of options for setting up the Item.
Option 1: Add new Item from Guest Service Category
Step 1: In the ‘Guest Service - Category’, choose a category you wish to add your item into
and click Add Item.
Step 2: Search and choose an existing item to add, or click Add New Item.
Notes: It is best practice to add the new Guest Services - Items from the Guest Services - Categories view this way, so it is immediately assigned to the Category and will be visible on the tablet screens.
If you add the new Item from the Guest Services - Categories view, it is also easier to deactivate and reactivate the item.
Option 2: Add new Item from Guest Service Items
You may add a new item from the ‘Guest Services - Items’ view, but you will need to manually add it to the ‘Guest Services - Category’ afterwards.
Step 1: To add an existing or new item, click Add Items.
Step 2: Search and choose an existing item to add, or click Add New Item.
