Content in the Tapendium solution refers to solutions about your hotel, its services, amenities, dining, and food options as well as information about the local area and entertainment options.
There are four Modules or areas in the Tapendium solution where content can be added and updated to provide information to your guests:
-
Full Page Module: This module can include PDF pages that can appear seamlessly as content on the tablet screens, or with some technical knowledge, full HTML pages with custom CSS formatting can be created.
-
Information Module: This module provides hotel and services information on the tablet, replacing printed information of a traditional compendium.
-
Promotion Module: This module is used to promote all manner of services or products to guests. They can be used to promote or provide information on restaurants, spas, entertainment options, conferences, or other events.
-
What’s On Module: This module provides information on activities, entertainment or events in and around the hotel and local area.
You can create multiple copies of the modules as containers for different content.
Welcome Screen
The content added to the Welcome screen module appears when the tablet is activated. The Tapendiu app is locked down and guests cannot browse to other areas of the tablet device.
You may have different welcome messages for different locations, which can be added or edited from the Welcome Screen module of the content management area of the Admin Portal.

How do I add a content module?
Content modules are used to group content in the app. You can create as many Content modules as you need to organize your content.
There are three types of content modules:
-
Information: designed to display larger areas of text and used for compendium style content.
-
Promotions: designed with a range of layout options with plenty of images to show off your property and services.
-
What’s On: designed to display a larger number of items with an image and a short amount of text.
Step 1: Go to Manage → Content Management → Content Modules → Add module
Step 2: Click on Add module and fill in the fields that appear in the box

Can I delete a Module?
Currently, a module cannot be deleted. This is because there is often other related content that needs to be deleted first.
But you can quickly make a module Inactive by clicking on the green Active button.
