Hardware Issues

• Scenario 1: No Charge and the charger/magnet/tablet work
• Scenario 2: No Charge and faulty docking charger
• Scenario 3: No Charge and faulty magnet
• Scenario 4: No Charge and faulty tablet

This page will discuss the steps to troubleshoot the possible hardware issues.

Scenario 1: No Charge and the charger/magnet/tablet work

1. Check if the device has a black screen. Double tap on the screen to wake the tablet up. If the tablet does not wake up, please go to the next step.

2. If the tablet appears to be dead. Plug in the docking charger base.

3. Wait for 15 mins before turning it on as the device takes 15 mins to be ready.

4. If, after 15 mins, the device is still not charging go to Scenario 2 steps.

Scenario 2: No Charge and faulty docking charger

1. If the device after 15 mins fails to power on or the tablet does not charge up, please try another working docking charger. This is to check if the base is faulty.

2. The device will start charging and help you validate that the previous docking charger is faulty.

3. Please email [e-mail] to inform about the faulty charger. The support team will organise a return with the manufacturer with or without an additional charge depending on the warranty.

4. If the device is still not charging go to Scenario 3 steps.

Scenario 3: No Charge and faulty magnet

1. If the device fails to charge up, please try please take the tablet out of it's sleeve. This is to check if the round magnet attached behind the tablet is faulty.

2. Try plugging a USB C charging cable if this works, then the magnet is faulty.

3. Please email [e-mail] to inform about the faulty magnet. The support team will organise a return with the manufacturer with or without an additional charge depending on the warranty.

4. If the device is still not charging go to Scenario 4 steps.

Scenario 4: No Charge and faulty tablet

1. If the device fails to charge after trying with a working docking station and an USB cable, then the tablet is faulty.

2. Please email the details of the faulty tablet to [e-mail]. The support team will organise a return with the manufacturer with or without an additional charge depending on the warranty.
