What are the different Room Service settings?
There are a number of Settings in Room Service that are usually set up on installation of the Tapendium solution.
You may edit these Settings if required. To edit click on the Edit icon.
Service Charge: Ability to add a service charge to Room Service Orders
Breakfast Delivery Times: Ability to set up breakfast delivery time.
Post Order Message: Ability to set up a message after a guest places a Room Service order.
Peak Order Message: Ability to add a message to notify guests that there is an overflow of Room Service orders.
Offline Order Message: Ability to add a message to notify guests when the Room Service is unavailable.
Special Request Message: Ability to add a message to notify guests if there are any special requests to be made (Example: Allergies, intolerances and dietary requirements; If you or anyone in your party has any concerns please call guest services using your room phone.)
Order Queue Settings: Manage order queues.
Other Settings: Ability to edit other messages to be shown in orders (Example: Show currency Symbol)
Number of Guests Message: Ability to add a message to notify guests to provide the number of guests per order.
Nutritional Info Message: Ability to add Nutritional Information in Items/Menus.
Default Item Image: Ability to add a default Item image if an Item does not contain any specific images.
How do I set up Nutritional Information options?
Nutritional information options are usually set up during the installation of the Tapendium solution.
If you need to edit them, you may follow these instructions
Method 1: From The Nutrition Section
Step 1:Under Admin click on Nutrition and click Select Options
Step 2: Select the options you wish to make available
If options you are looking for is not available, please contact Tapendium Support - support@tapendium.com .
Method 2: From The Nutrition Section
Step 1: Navigate to Items → Select an Item to Edit
Step 2: An Edit Item window will appear, scroll down to see Nutritional Info and click Plus icon
Step 3: Tick applicable boxes and click Save - if nutritional options you are looking for is not available, please contact Tapendium Support - support@tapendium.com .
