What are Options Types?
Option Type allows you to set up different options for any of the foods or beverages in your Menu Tabs. It is used to set up choices such as Style of meat cooking (Example: rare, medium, well-done), bread types (Example: rye, wholemeal, gluten-free), extra toppings (Example: pizza toppings) or order of tea (Example: soy milk, saccharine, extra water).
Option Type also allows you to set whether or not the guest is charged for choices or extras.
You will need to add a new Option Type if you are creating a new food or beverage and there is no suitable pre-existing Option Type specified in the Menu Tab, or if you are creating a new Menu Tab.
You will need to set up an Option Type before you add an Option to a selection.
