Re-assigning a spare device using the Admin portal
The need to assign a spare device to a room most commonly occurs when you have a faulty device in a particular location. Please consider the following points below when doing this activity.

Only one device can be assigned to a location at a time.

If the device is online, you can complete the process either on the device or using Admin Portal.

If the device is offline, you need to complete the process using the Admin Portal.
Step 1: Go to Site Admin → Device Management → Device Status.
Step 2: Access the ‘edit device’ window to re-assign.

If the device is faulty , make it inactive.

Step 1: Access Device Settings
To access device settings please refer Device Management on Tablets
Step 2: Access the Device window
On the tablet access the ‘Assign Device’ window as shown.
Clicking on the Assign Room will bring up a list of all spare rooms. Selecting any of the spare rooms will allocate the device to the particular spare room.
