Testing a new guest service
- To test an new guest service integrated job your need to use a room tablet, not a spare or admin tablet.
- First make sure the new guest is set to Demo location group
- When you have got a room tablet you will need to assign it to the Demo Group in Location Groups
- In the edit group window add the room to the group by click +Add next the room name under location, it should then appear under location members.
- To test it, on the room tablet request the item you have just set up and check that it has shown up on the Housekeeping Software Providers interface.
- If this has worked you can turn on the item in all locations.
- Don't forget to remove the room tablet from demo group. You will need go to back into edit group and hit the cross next the the room to do this.
Testing an existing guest service
- To test an existing guest service integrated job your need to use a room tablet, not a spare or admin tablet.
- We recommend you test this between check out and check in times as guest are less likely to request this item.
Once you have turned on the integration quickly test it on the room tablet and check that it has shown up on the Housekeeping Software Providers interface. - If it has not worked, quickly turn the integration off and go back to the list of task/ID number provided by the housekeeping software provider and correct the code before testing again.
- Otherwise, if it has worked leave to integration tab turned On
